TUS Moylish Campus
Limerick City

  • A 166.5 kWp PV Solar System for the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS).
  • 370 x 450W PV modules have been installed on seven roof sections with a total area of 8,000 sq ft at the TUS Moylish Campus in Limerick.
  • 3 south-facing sections
  • 4 east-west facing sections
  • Total estimated kilowatt delivered yearly 136, 615 kWh
  • Equivalent yearly kilowatt supply of approximately 30 average households.
  • 64 tons of CO2 emissions avoided every year

Gort

  • The company’s Gort-based facility is already manufacturing their bespoke modular units for the construction sector, using up to 99% solar power from a newly constructed rooftop solar system. 
  • 301 PV modules on 2 slopes of the roof divided in 12 module fields on each slope
  • Panel model: Jinko Solar’s Tiger Pro 530W model, which is perfect for self-consumption and industrial solar installations. EnergieXPro® was the first company to use these high-performance PV Modules in Ireland. The panels have higher output and efficiency (over 20%) which is extremely important and beneficial in the West of Ireland.
  • 2 x two topof-the range GoodWe 80kW MT Series inverters with 24 string input capabilities and a maximum efficiency of 98.4%.
  • Battery storage: a battery storage system to support the installation and to help achieve close to 100% use of self-generated power. The battery manufacturer Sofar Solar had just launched a new battery storage product line and thanks to their close relationship with Sofar, EnergieXPro® were able to supply and install the world’s first 20 kW AC coupled battery units. А total of 3 x 25kW Amass Towers were supplied, making it the first install of its kind in Europe, and meeting the challenges of the restricted space available. 

Bellissimo Beauty Complex
Galway

  • A Turnkey 73,488 kWp Rooftop Solar PV and battery storage system, covering Bellissimo’s energy needs by 60 to 80%.
  • 207 x 355W high performance QCELLS Q.PEAK DUO-G8 panels, generating a total of 75 kW of power.
  • Two top-of-the range GoodWe 36kW inverters with 24 string input capabilities and a maximum efficiency of 98.4%.
  • 1 x SKW hybrid GoodWe inverter powering high voltage battery, all controlled by a GoodWe SEC1000 controller
  • Battery storage: 1 x Soluna 15K Pack is a three-phase battery module that enables energy storage to maximise self-consumption from your solar system to reduce electricity bills and provide energy independence.
  • LED lighting and heat pumps were also installed to further reduce Bellissimo’s energy usage.
